We are so excited to announce the launch of our latest community resource: Recombinant Antibodies! Our inaugural collection of ready-to-use antibodies includes tools for the neuroscience community and is available to both academic and industry scientists. You can read all about the launch here.

Antibodies at Addgene

Addgene now distributes ready-to-use recombinant antibodies to help facilitate scientific research.
We are building a collection of affinity reagents that are expressed from plasmids – starting with 27 neuroscience tools, then expanding this resource to serve the needs of the entire scientific community. The catalog includes:

  • Anti-GFP [N86/38.1R]
  • Anti-PSD-95 [K28/43R]
  • Anti-GluA1/GluR1 glutamate receptor [N355/1R]

These antibodies are made using our high quality, in-house production facilities and undergo application-specific validation. Addgene works with trusted partners and experts in the field to provide experimental data for recommended applications. Addgene values transparency and accessibility in research and therefore makes the sequences of these affinity reagents available to scientists.
