Addgene Newsletter, March 2021

Hello there!

Plasmid tools deposited by Michael Davidson and Roger Tsien have enabled countless discoveries over the years. To commemorate their contributions to the development of fluorescent proteins and their dedication to scientific sharing, Addgene is once again seeking applications for the Michael Davidson and Roger Tsien Commemorative Conference Attendance Awards

If you’re a research technician, undergraduate or graduate student, or postdoc using fluorescent proteins in your research, consider applying by April 30, 2021. This award can be used for either in-person or virtual conferences in the next year.

Neurodegeneration Research Collection

Addgene’s new Neurodegeneration Research Collection, supported by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, highlights tools in several fields such as CRISPR, AAV, Stem Cells, and Fluorescent Proteins that may be useful for neurodegeneration research.

The searchable tables in the neurodegeneration plasmid collection helps you easily find plasmids expressing ORFs, gene fragments, and gRNAs for genes associated with neurodegenerative diseases.
