It’s been an incredible 20th anniversary year for Addgene, and we’re topping it off with some exciting news! In January 2025, our viral vectors service will expand to include a Packaged on Request option. With this, scientists can request an AAV plasmid in the Addgene repository be packaged by Addgene into one of five different serotypes. Check out our blog post to learn more!

Society for Neuroscience 2024 Conference

Addgene had a fantastic time at SfN24! We teamed up with the Institute for Protein Innovation (IPI) to share information about their antibodies, immersed ourselves in the many new tools and technologies, and saw the Allen Institute’s collection of enhancer AAVs for targeting specific brain cell types highlighted in a Presidential Special Lecture.
